Trust our experienced optometrist to provide you with an accurate and thorough eye exam. Each exam starts with basic screening tests for glaucoma, color vision, visual field, depth perception, muscle function, and refraction to determine your powers. If necessary, we can also conduct extended internal exams by dilating your pupils. An eye exam to receive contact lenses is the same as the above exam but includes the fitting and follow-up appointments required for contact lenses. During a contact lens fitting, we measure the curvature to the front of the eye by the reflection. We then match that with the type of lens you are interested in. We will also give you instructions on how to properly wear your contacts.
